Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – Steel Fabrication

Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with solid experience in steel fabrication projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing project costs, preparing accurate documentation, and ensuring strong financial control throughout the lifecycle of steel structure fabrication and erection projects in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and manage detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for steel fabrication projects.
• Conduct cost analysis and estimate materials, labor, and equipment requirements.
• Prepare IPA (Interim Payment Applications) accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform QTO (Quantity Take-Off) for steel structures directly from drawings.
• Identify, track, and document variations throughout the project.
• Monitor project budgets, track cost variations, and provide cost forecasts.
• Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Support tender preparation, bid analysis, and contract administration.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate, organized records of all project-related financial documents.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction standards, codes, and company policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in UAE as a Quantity Surveyor in steel fabrication or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of steel structures, fabrication processes, and UAE construction standards.
• Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred:

• Experience in UAE steel fabrication or structural steel projects.
• Familiarity with procurement, submittal processes, and quality control documentation.
