Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Cost Controller (QS) to manage project costs and ensure financial control throughout the construction lifecycle. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of preparing accurate BOQs, cost estimates, and reports to support project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and quantity take-offs.
• Review and verify subcontractor quotations, claims, and invoices.
• Prepare payment certificates for subcontractors and ensure correct measurement of completed works.
• Assist in cost estimation, budgeting, and tendering processes.
• Track actual costs vs. budget and prepare monthly cost reports.
• Evaluate variations, change orders, and support commercial settlements.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and procurement teams.
• Maintain updated cost records and ensure compliance with company standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of QS experience in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and subcontractor billing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and QS software (CostX or similar).
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
