We invest in our people with training and growth opportunities designed to propel you further in your career while providing a flexible and progressive workplace that reflects our values and teams.Altus Group is currently accepting application for a Quantity Surveyor with 2-3 years' experience, to join our Development Advisory division in our Sydney CBD Head Office.Reporting to the Associate Director, as a Quantity Surveyor you are passionate about helping clients manage their construction costs and ensuring financial efficiency throughout the various stages of construction Job Responsibilities: Conduct detailed cost analyses, estimates, cost plans and feasibility studies for construction projects. Completion of full trade and elemental take-off; Measuring quantities for variations and managing risks in relation to changes; Undertake site visit and complete valuations of work complete on site; Prepare cash flows; Managing client relations and assist in establishing a client's requirements; Provide expert advice on cost-effective construction methods and materials. Undertake cost analysis and feasibility studies. Job Requirements: Expertise and accreditation in Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management. 2 -3 year's Quantity Surveying experience Membership in an approved Professional Body (eg. AIQS, RICS, CIOB); Knowledge of the local construction industry including development, contracting and consulting sectors; Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities.
