Job Description – Quantity Surveyor

Position: Quantity Surveyor

Location: DIC

Industry: Construction / Contracting / Scaffolding

Experience: 1–4 years

Qualification :B.Tech - Civil Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQ, and cost estimates from drawings and specifications.
• Evaluate tender documents, project scope, and contractual requirements.
• Prepare and analyze comparative statements, pricing, and cost breakdowns.
• Assist in submitting tenders, quotations, and contract proposals.
• Conduct site measurements, verify completed works, and prepare monthly valuations.
• Prepare interim payment applications, final accounts, and variation claims.
• Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients for clarifications.
• Maintain updated cost data for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Prepare material reconciliation reports and verify subcontractor invoices.
• Ensure all QS documents comply with company policies and contractual obligations.
• Assist in preparing progress reports, cash flow forecasts, and budget monitoring.
• Review and manage contract agreements, terms, and conditions.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, measurements, and cost control.
• Experience with FIDIC contracts (advantage).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and QS software.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
