Civil Engineer – Quantity Surveyor / Technical Office & Site Supervision

Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified Civil Engineer with 3 year experience in Quantity Surveying, technical office work, and site supervision to join our contracting company in Ajman. The ideal candidate should be able to manage project quantities, prepare BOQs and cost estimates, review drawings, coordinate with consultants and suppliers, and follow up on daily site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates.
• Review drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Prepare and submit material approvals & RFIs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and materials.
• Monitor site progress and report daily activities.
• Ensure work execution as per project plans and QA/QC requirements.
• Assist in preparing payment certificates and variations.
• Attend site meetings and support project manager as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 2–5 years UAE experience preferred.
• Good background in QS and technical office works.
• Experience in site execution and supervision.
• Valid membership in Society of Engineers UAE or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD & MS Office (Primavera is a plus).
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• UAE driving license is an advantage.

Salary & Benefits:
