Quantity surveyor

job Title: Quantity Surveyor (UAE Experienced – 5 Years Required)

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 5 years of UAE experience to manage cost control, estimation, and contractual matters for our construction projects.The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration, along with familiarity with UAE construction regulations and market practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) from drawings and specifications.
• Assist in cost estimation, tender submissions, and pricing for new projects.
• Evaluate and process subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Prepare interim payment applications, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Conduct site visits for measurement and progress evaluation.
• Prepare tender documents and review contractor/subcontractor quotations
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and site teams
• Handle contract administration in accordance with project requirements
• Prepare regular cost reports and financial updates for management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of Quantity Surveying experience in the UAE.
• Knowledge of FIDIC and local contract conditions.
• Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, PlanSwift).
• Good understanding of UAE market rates, materials, and suppliers.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• UAE driving license (preferred but not mandatory).
