We're Hiring! Quantity Surveyor– Bartawi General Contracting

Location: AlQouz industrial area 2- Dubai

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for tenders, proposals, and ongoing projects.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for pricing comparisons.
• Conduct site visits (when necessary) to better understand project requirements.
• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and assist in pricing and cost breakdown.
• Evaluate and manage project risks and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement for accurate cost planning.
• Assist in post-tender clarifications, negotiations, and value engineering.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• 5+ years of UAE experience as an Estimator in the construction or fit-out sector.
• Strong understanding of estimation tools, cost control systems, and construction methodologies.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software (e.g., CCS Candy, Planswift).
• Attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
