About the Role

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of quantity takeoffs and BOQ preparation across all project phases. In this role, you will ensure accuracy in measurements, maintain up-to-date material and pricing data, and support cost alignment between design intent and project budgets.

You will act as a key technical reference for validating quantities and ensuring cost realism in our design-build projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs by reviewing drawings and project specifications
• Develop and validate detailed BOQs across different disciplines
• Maintain and regularly update the material price and specification database
• Track market price changes and coordinate with the Costing Lead to reflect updates
• Ensure alignment between quantities in BIM models, drawings, and BOQs
• Support early-stage cost planning and schematic budgeting
• Coordinate with Design, BIM, Costing, and Supply Chain teams for quantity and cost accuracy
• Review materials and samples to assess cost impact and compliance with specifications
• Identify discrepancies in quantities or specifications before procurement
• Prepare reports related to quantities, material costs, and budget alignment

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in Quantity Surveying or related roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Engineering, or Architecture.
• Strong experience in BOQ preparation and quantity takeoff methodologies.
• Good understanding of material specifications, construction methods, and cost control.
• Experience in coordinating with design, BIM, and costing teams.
• Proficiency in Excel and quantity surveying tools (manual and BIM-based).
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Gulf project experience is preferred.
