Quantity Surveyor

Candidzone is a leading recruitment and HR solutions provider in Qatar, connecting top talent with reputable organizations across various industries. We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) for a short-term assignment on an Ashghal road project.

This is an urgent requirement to cover emergency sick leave, and candidates must be available for immediate joining.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all quantity surveying activities for road construction projects
• Prepare and review BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimates
• Monitor project costs and ensure budget compliance
• Evaluate contractor claims, variations, and payments
• Conduct site measurements and valuations
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate cost reporting
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and project specifications

Skills and Qualifications:

• BSc in Quantity Surveying
• UPDA certification (mandatory)
• Minimum 10 years of post-graduate experience
• At least 7 years of similar project experience
• Minimum 5 years of regional (GCC) experience
• Strong knowledge of road project QS practices
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
