1. Cost Planning & Estimation

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents.
  • Develop cost plans during feasibility and design stages.
  • Conduct cost analysis and forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.

2. Procurement & Tendering

  • Prepare and issue tender documents (RFQs, RFPs, BOQs).
  • Analyze and evaluate contractor and supplier bids.
  • Assist in negotiation and contractor selection.

3. Contract Management

  • Prepare contract documentation, variations, and claims.
  • Monitor contractual compliance for clients and contractors.

4. Cost Control & Financial Management

  • Track project expenditures, certify payments, and prepare interim valuations.
  • Conduct cost audits and maintain project cost records.
  • Prepare final accounts and financial statements upon project completion.

5. Project Coordination & Reporting

  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, architects, and site teams.
  • Attend site meetings and provide commercial updates.
  • Prepare regular progress and cost reports for stakeholders.

6. Risk & Value Engineering

  • Identify cost and financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in value engineering workshops to optimize project cost.

7. Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all work complies with legal, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for auditing and regulatory review.

Required Skills & QualificationsEducation

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and civil engineering standards.
  • Proficiency in QS software (CostX, Candy, Primavera, AutoCAD, MS Excel, etc.).
  • Understanding of contract laws and standard forms of contracts.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Experience

  • Typically 2–5+ years of experience in civil engineering.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
