The Civil Engineer (Quantity Surveyor) is responsible for preparing cost estimates, tender documents, and contracts; monitoring project budgets; and evaluating variations throughout the project lifecycle.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on project drawings and specifications.
- Evaluate tenders and prepare comprehensive tender documentation.
- Review drawings and technical specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare submittals, LPOs, invoices, snag lists, RFIs, and shop drawings.
- Coordinate with project consultants to ensure timely approvals and smooth project execution.
- Source and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers for construction materials procurement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with at least 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the candidate’s home country.
- Abu Dhabi Municipality Engineer registration is an advantage.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, Excel, and Adobe applications.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
