Quantity Surveyor – Construction Projects

Indigo Group is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our growing construction team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, contract management, and quantity take-offs for large-scale construction projects.

This role requires a professional who can effectively control project costs while ensuring quality standards and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
• Develop accurate cost estimates, BOQs (Bills of Quantities), and project budgets.
• Monitor project costs and ensure expenditures remain within approved budgets.
• Evaluate contractor quotations and negotiate rates where required.
• Prepare and verify interim payment certificates and contractor bills.
• Conduct site measurements and valuation of completed works.
• Analyze project variations, change orders, and cost implications.
• Assist in tender preparation, bid evaluation, and procurement activities.
• Maintain project cost reports and cash flow forecasts.
• Review contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and site teams.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality.
• Monitor material consumption and reconcile quantities throughout project execution.
• Prepare final accounts and project closeout documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• 10+ years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of BOQs, cost estimation, budgeting, and contract administration.
• Experience in high-rise buildings, commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity surveying software.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and site execution.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: Rs125,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
