To prepare monthly progress payments and provide commercial support for water pipeline and infrastructure projects, ensuring effective budget control, accurate reporting, and compliance with contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project specifications, drawings, and contract documents.
- Liaise with the site team to record daily progress and prepare monthly progress payments in coordination with the Consultant Engineer.
- Prepare interim payment applications and final accounts for submission to clients.
- Assist in preparing cost estimates and bills of quantities (BOQ).
- Develop and monitor project budgets, cash flow, and cost control reports.
- Measure, value, and certify subcontractor works.
- Evaluate variations, claims, and change orders in line with contract requirements.
- Conduct site visits to verify completed works against submitted claims.
- Prepare detailed monthly cost and value reconciliation reports.
- Provide commercial and financial input for project progress reports.
- Support management in strategic decision-making with accurate cost and commercial data
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
- Strong proficiency and hands-on experience in Primavera and MS Project software
- 1–5 years’ experience in quantity surveying for water pipeline and infrastructure projects within the UAE/GCC.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, QS software, and online project portals.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
