Quantity Surveyor Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor Engineer with a strong background in interior fit-out and civil works to join our team in Bahrain.

The candidate will be responsible for quantity surveying, cost control, subcontractor management, variations, and project commercial support across multiple projects.

The ideal candidate should have practical site and commercial experience in interior fit-out projects and general civil construction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates
• Review drawings and project specifications
• Prepare BOQs and tender documents
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations
• Track project costs and variations
• Prepare interim valuations and final accounts
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams
• Monitor material quantities and wastage
• Assist in project budgeting and cost reporting
• Handle subcontractor payment evaluations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in quantity surveying
• Experience in interior fit-out projects is required
• Civil construction background is preferred
• Good understanding of BOQs, contracts, and construction drawings
• Proficiency in Excel and AutoCAD
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience in Bahrain or GCC is an advantage

Pay: From BD450.000 per month
