Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Quantity Surveyor & Estimator.

The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, material take-offs, and project budgets for villa renovation, fit-out, MEP, and extension works. The candidate must have a solid understanding of Dubai market pricing, materials, suppliers, subcontractor rates, and approval-related expenses.

Key Responsibilities

-Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and tender submissions

-Perform material take-offs from architectural, structural, and MEP drawings

-Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations and prepare comparison sheets

-Support procurement in sourcing, negotiating prices, and preparing LPOs

-Update cost databases and maintain accurate pricing records

-Assist Project and Sales teams with budgeting and cost control

-Ensure estimates align with approved drawings and project specifications

-Provide cost-related input during design development and project planning

-Work within deadlines and participate in client cost discussions when required

Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field

-Experience in UAE fit-out, renovation, or villa construction is an advantage

-Strong ability to read architectural, structural, and MEP drawings

-Excellent analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail

-Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (formulas, take-offs, pricing models)

-Good communication skills for coordination with suppliers, subcontractors, and project managers

-Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills

-Knowledge of AutoCAD (mandatory)

-Experience using estimation tools or quantity surveying software (advantage)

-Familiarity with Dubai municipality processes and approval fees (advantage)

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
