Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor – Road, Infrastructure & Stormwater to join our team in Ras Al Khaimah.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, quantity surveying, contract administration, and commercial management of road, infrastructure, and stormwater projects, ensuring effective cost control and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for road, infrastructure, and stormwater projects.

Conduct quantity take-offs and measurement of works including earthworks, asphalt works, stormwater networks, utilities, road markings, kerbstone works, and related activities.

Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and prepare comparative statements.

Prepare IPA (Interim Payment Applications), payment breakdowns, interim valuations, accrual values, progress payment applications, variation submissions, and final accounts.

Monitor project costs, budgets, certified values, accruals, and variations to ensure effective commercial and financial control.

Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate variation orders and EOT-related cost claims.

Ensure compliance with contract conditions, project specifications, and company procedures.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, clients, and site teams for effective project execution and commercial coordination.

Assist in procurement and subcontract administration activities.

Maintain accurate records of project quantities, costs, variations, and commercial documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 3–8 years of experience in road, infrastructure, and stormwater projects.

Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and commercial management.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and relevant QS software.

Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

UAE/GCC experience is mandatory.

Good command of the English language.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of FIDIC contract conditions.

Experience with government and infrastructure authority projects.

Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications accurately.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
