Quantity Surveyor – Interior Fit-Out & Joinery

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with proven estimation and cost control experience in interior fit-out and joinery works to manage project costing, tendering, budgeting, and commercial administration. The candidate must be well-versed in UAE interior construction practices and materials.

Key Responsibilities

Estimation & Tendering

•Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs for interior fit-out and joinery works

•Conduct quantity take-offs from IFC drawings, shop drawings, and design details

•Analyze tender documents and prepare competitive pricing

•Prepare rate analysis for custom joinery and bespoke items

•Assist in value engineering and cost optimization

Cost Control & Commercial Management

•Monitor project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow

•Prepare monthly valuations, progress billing, and payment certificates

•Evaluate variations, claims, and change orders

•Prepare and close final accounts

Interior Fit-Out & Joinery Scope Knowledge

•Strong understanding of joinery works: wardrobes, cabinets, wall panels, doors, counters, display units

•Knowledge of finishes: gypsum partitions, ceilings, flooring, marble, tiles, wallpapers, paints

•Familiar with shop drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, and approvals

•Understanding of factory production costing and site installation costs

Requirements & Qualifications

•Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field

•Minimum 2–5 years UAE experience in interior fit-out and joinery companies

•Strong estimation and BOQ preparation skills
