Quantity Surveyor (Landscape)

Key Responsibilities

• Cost Estimation & Tendering: Prepare detailed budgets, cost estimates, and BOQs for landscaping, swimming pool, and hardscape projects.
• Quantity Take-offs & Measurement: Perform accurate quantity take-offs from drawings for material procurement and subcontractor evaluation.
• Contract Administration: Manage subcontractor packages, negotiate variation orders, and process payment applications (interim and final accounts).
• Site Coordination: Conduct site visits to verify progress against claimed quantities and collaborate with landscape architects and engineers.
• Financial Reporting: Monitor project costs against budget, prepare cost-to-complete reports, and forecast cash flow.

Key Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 4–6 years of UAE experience, specifically in landscaping or civil projects.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of hardscape, softscape, and irrigation materials/construction, proficiency in AutoCAD/Excel, and familiarity with FIDIC contracts.
