Quantity Surveyor (Location: Ethiopia)

Quantity Surveyor – Ethiopia Project

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor for our Ethiopia Project.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying within construction projects
• Strong knowledge in quantity take-off, cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and contract administration
• Experience in handling subcontractor billing, variations, and project cost control
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, and quantity surveying software
• GCC/Africa project experience will be an added advantage
• Strong communication and coordination skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare quantity take-offs and BOQs based on drawings and specifications
• Monitor project costs and prepare cost reports
• Evaluate subcontractor claims and payment certificates
• Coordinate with project/site teams regarding material and work progress
• Assist in variations, claims, and commercial documentation
• Ensure all commercial activities are aligned with project budget and timelines
