Quantity Surveyor (MEP)

We are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor (MEP) to join our team and take charge of cost management and contractual aspects of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works within our construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review MEP cost estimates, tender documents, and pricing schedules.
• Analyze design drawings, BOQs, and specifications for accurate budgeting.
• Assist in vendor/subcontractor selection, quotation analysis, and rate evaluation.
• Participate in value engineering to achieve cost and design efficiency.
• Monitor and track MEP-related costs to ensure compliance with budgets.
• Review and process subcontractor interim payments, variations, and change orders.
• Coordinate with site engineers for measurement and valuation of works.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and maintain final accounts.
• Support in claims, disputes, and contract administration related to MEP scope.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• 4–8 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor specializing in MEP works.
• Proven expertise in MEP packages (HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, electrical, ELV).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and QS software
• Familiarity with standard contracts such as FIDIC or local equivalents.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and reporting skills.
