Quantity Surveyor- MEP

Key Responsibilities:A. Estimation & Costing

• Prepare BOQ for Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing systems.
• Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, Electrical).
• Develop cost estimates based on material, labor, and equipment.

B. Tendering & Procurement

• Assist in preparing tender documents, scope descriptions, and cost breakdowns.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for technical and commercial compliance.
• Assist procurement in preparing comparison sheets.

C. Cost Control & Reporting

• Monitor and control cost against budget for all MEP activities.
• Identify and evaluate variations and submit VO claims.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts for MEP works.
• Track project financial progress and produce cost reports.

D. Billing & Measurements

• Carry out site measurements for installed MEP works.
• Prepare interim payment certificates (IPCs).
• Verify subcontractor invoices and certify payment.
• Prepare final accounts upon project completion.

E. Coordination

• Work closely with MEP Engineers, QA/QC, and procurement teams.
• Assist project managers in decision-making by providing cost impact analyses.

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• 3+ years experience in MEP QS roles.
• Strong knowledge of MEP materials, systems, and installation methods.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, Costing Software, and quantity take-off tools.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
