Quantity Surveyor / Office Civil Engineer

We are seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor / Office Civil Engineer with strong technical expertise in the construction field. The ideal candidate will be responsible for quantity take-offs and material estimates to preparation of invoices, payment certificates, and cost tracking. In addition, the candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD and capable of producing detailed screed sections, shop drawings, and material submittals as required by the project team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
• Prepare and verify interim payment applications, invoices, and certifications for both clients and subcontractors.
• Review and update BOQs, variations, and change orders.
• Maintain proper documentation of all commercial and technical records for audits and approvals.
• Coordinate with the site team to validate progress reports and ensure accurate billing.
• Develop AutoCAD drawings for screed sections, typical details, and technical submittals.
• Prepare material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings as required.
• Support the Project Manager in tender submissions, quotations, and technical proposals.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and company standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the UAE construction sector
• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles and progress billing.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Primavera or ERP systems is an advantage.
• Excellent understanding of project drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple projects.
• Fluent in English

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in screed, flooring, or civil finishing works.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and coordination skills between office, site, and client.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
