Quantity Surveyor (Post-Contract) – Interior Fit-Out & Joinery

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor (Post-Contract) to manage cost control, material quantification, variations, and commercial administration for interior fit-out and joinery projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of post-contract processes, and hands-on experience in evaluating project costs, validating site progress, and managing subcontractor payments. This role requires a solid understanding of interior fit-out materials, joinery fabrication, and market rates within the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage cost control and commercial performance of interior fit-out and joinery projects after contract award.
• Measure and quantify works (especially joinery, finishes, fit-out items), evaluate interim and final accounts, variations and claims.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts, budgets and assist in value engineering proposals.
• Liaise with project team to assess financial impact of changes, ensure correct billing, certify payments to subcontractors/suppliers.
• Monitor subcontractor MS (measurement sheets), change orders, subcontract/PO compliance and cost tracking.
• Assist in risk analysis, contract close-out, as-built cost documentation and final account negotiation.
• Ensure project cost data is captured, lessons learned logged and costing database updated for future bids.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar.
• Minimum 2-4 years’ experience as QS in fit-out / joinery / interior projects.
• Strong measurement, cost estimation and contract administration skills.
• Awareness of joinery/commercial fit-out costing methods, subcontractor/sub-supply markets in UAE.
• Proficiency in cost software (e.g., Excel, cost-planning tools, maybe CostX or similar).
• Good reporting and communication skills; ability to support tight project budgets and timelines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,500.00 per month
