Quantity Surveyor (QS)

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to manage all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost planning, procurement, contract administration, and financial reporting to ensure projects are completed within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
• Develop and manage Bills of Quantities (BoQs), tender documents, and contracts.
• Evaluate and negotiate tenders, subcontracts, and supplier agreements.
• Monitor project costs, track variations and change orders, and provide value engineering advice.
• Certify interim and final payments to contractors and suppliers.
• Administer contracts and ensure compliance with terms and regulations.
• Maintain financial control through regular reporting and cost analysis.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and clients.
• Prepare and agree on final accounts and closeout documentation.
• Assist with claims, dispute resolution, and risk management activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably within Fit out Works
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC)
• Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, Candy)
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
