Quantity Surveyor (QS)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage project costing, quantity estimation, measurement verification, and cost control activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate quantity take-offs, contractor billing verification, and effective monitoring of project costs throughout the construction cycle.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates from drawings and site measurements
• Verify contractor bills, work progress, and executed quantities
• Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost comparisons
• Monitor project costs and budget utilization
• Evaluate variations, additional works, and change orders
• Conduct site visits for measurement verification and progress assessment
• Maintain project cost records and documentation
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams
• Assist management in project planning and cost control

Requirements:

• DAE (Civil) / B.Tech (Civil) / Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• Strong knowledge of quantity estimation, BOQs, and construction costing
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying practices
• Experience in housing societies and infrastructure projects will be preferred
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills
