Quantity Surveyor (QS) – Joinery

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor specialized only in joinery works to manage cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and project cost control for joinery manufacturing and interior fit-out projects in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed BOQ specifically for joinery works (cabinets, wardrobes, doors, counters, paneling, etc.).
• Perform accurate quantity take-off from joinery/shop drawings.
• Prepare cost estimates and project budgets for joinery manufacturing and installation.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for joinery materials and works.
• Monitor project costs and prepare cost reports.
• Handle variation orders (VOs) related to joinery scope only.
• Prepare interim valuations and assist in final account settlement.
• Coordinate with production, design, and site teams for cost accuracy.
• Ensure cost control and material optimization in joinery production.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering / Interior Fit-Out or equivalent.
• 3–7+ years of QS experience in joinery companies ONLY.
• Strong knowledge of joinery materials (MDF, plywood, veneer, laminate, solid wood, hardware).
• Experience in joinery factory and site coordination.
• Strong skills in BOQ preparation and Excel-based costing.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed shop drawings.
• UAE/GCC experience preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in luxury joinery / interior fit-out projects (hotels, villas, retail).
• Knowledge of production costing and wastage control in joinery workshops.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and pricing.
