Position: QS Estimator & Quantity Surveyor (Civil Background)

Location: Dubai, UAE
Availability: Immediate Joiner
Gender: Male

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QS Estimator & Quantity Surveyor with 2–3 years of proven experience in the GCC, preferably in interior fit-out and joinery projects AND CONTRACTING. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple estimation and cost control tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and material take-offs for interior fit-out projects.
• Conduct quantity surveying and cost analysis throughout project stages.
• Prepare tender documents, RFQs, and evaluate subcontractor quotations.
• Coordinate with the design, procurement, and project teams to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Conduct site visits for measurements, verifications, and progress assessments.
• Maintain updated records of project variations, cost adjustments, and value engineering.
• Assist in budget planning, cost monitoring, and financial reporting for projects.
• Review shop drawings, specifications, and contracts for quantity accuracy.
• Ensure all work aligns with company standards and client requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience as a QS/Estimator in the Civil industry (mandatory).
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, Candy, or similar).
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good knowledge of local suppliers, materials, and market rates.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
