Quantity Surveyor/Estimator

Roles & Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs for landscape and swimming pool projects
• Perform quantity take-offs for softscape, hardscape, irrigation systems, and pool works
• Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
• Identify discrepancies, risks, and missing information in tender documents
• Prepare technical proposals, method statements, and tender submissions
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams during tender stage
• Conduct site visits when required to assess project conditions
• Prepare preliminary project schedules and timelines
• Raise RFIs (Requests for Information) for clarifications
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and local authority requirements
• Assist in post-tender negotiations and clarifications

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in landscaping and swimming pool projects.
• Good knowledge of contracts, BOQs, cost control, and variation management.
• Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
