What You’ll Be Doing

As a Quarry Shift Leader, you will oversee and manage mining equipment during your assigned shift, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to quality standards. This role involves coordinating with team members, monitoring production processes, and addressing any issues that arise to maintain efficiency and accuracy.

You will be responsible for ensuring attention to detail, maintaining clear communication with the team, and effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Are

  • Schedule operators and equipment to achieve production targets .
  • Utilization of equipment in a safe, cost effective and with good mining practice.
  • Coordinate Mine Operations and plant operations personnel to optimize productivity, Quality control.
  • Communicate with the Seniors to ensure that the operators on the shift are trained to meet all the requirements safely and productivity.
  • Keep records of all aspects site activities on his daily shift log, as well as special reports as required.
  • Control movement of machinery within the pit.

What We’d Love For You To Have

  • Diploma or +2 Intermediate Pass or ITI Certificate Holder (Two years duration certificate course in Industrial Training Institute)
  • Experience in supervising Quarry Operation (2–5 years preferred).
  • Knowledge of Heavy Mining equipment Operation and maintenance, Drilling and Blasting and other quarry related operation.
  • Ability work in Mining site having variable weather conditions
  • Strong knowledge of safety of Mining Machines and other quarry operation
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
