As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a service-oriented and self-motivated individual to join our team as a QuickBooks Consultant in the firm’s Client Accounting and Advisory Services Group.

As a QuickBooks Consultant, you will play a crucial role in helping clients maximize the potential of their back office financial operations through QuickBooks. You will be responsible for working directly with clients to assess their needs, developing and implementing QuickBooks solutions tailored to their unique requirements, and providing ongoing support and consultation to ensure the highest level of client service. You will also grow and develop your career with both support and mentoring from experienced consultants in the firm, as well as through regular participation in internal and external Continuing Professional Education Programs

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Retain and grow relationships and business opportunities with assigned clients through direct communication.
• Perform QuickBooks accounting functions such as software setup, day-to-day data entry, review Chart of Accounts, and prepare financial reports.
• Utilize QuickBooks to record and categorize financial transactions, reconcile bank statements, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable.
• Assist and implement QuickBooks software conversions from Desktop to Online.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and reconciliations of bank and credit card transactions.
• Generate customer invoices and monitor Accounts Receivable.
• Record and remit payment to vendors of the client, if requested.
• Generate regular financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other customizable reports as needed.
• Analyze business requirements of clients and develop custom reporting templates and dashboards.
• Provide expert advice and consultation on financial and cash flow management.
• Provide training and assistance to clients on the efficient use of QuickBooks software.
• Implement best practices for maintaining data integrity and security.
• Perform ad-hoc duties when required by Client’s management.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role, with expertise in QuickBooks Online.
• Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor or any relevant QuickBooks Certification is a plus.
• At least three years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, and QuickBooks management.
• Understanding of various industries’ accounting practices, including tax compliance and applicable regulations.
• Ability to build rapport with clients and listen to their needs to create customized client solutions.
• Demonstrate proficiency with MS Excel.
• Highly analytical and with excellent numerical skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work through tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Schedule and Compensation

• Part-time; approximately 15-20 hours per week
• Hybrid schedule (1 day a week in office)

• The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr
