Job Overview:

BegoWise is a tax and financial advisory firm serving small business owners. BegoWise integrates real-time QuickBooks Online data with tax intelligence to provide continuous financial advisory services for small business owners, including cash flow monitoring, accounts receivable/payable analysis, and tax-adjusted financial insights.

We are seeking a QuickBooks Online Specialist who can both support financial operations and help expand our advisory services to new small business clients.

This role combines financial data expertise, client advisory, and business development.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Operations & Advisory Support

  • Onboard clients to QuickBooks Online
  • Review and monitor financial transactions
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Detect anomalies or potential financial risks using QBO data.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and dashboards
  • Support generation of tax-adjusted financial insights
  • Maintain clean and organized client financial data
  • Use BegoWise advisory platform to generate actionable insights

2. Client Advisory Support

  • Help clients understand financial reports
  • Provide insights on cash flow, receivables, and payables
  • Support monthly or quarterly financial review meetings
  • Assist in preparing data for tax planning and advisory discussions

3. Business Development

  • Present BegoWise platform to prospects, highlighting real-time financial insights
  • Help identify and onboard new small business clients
  • Participate in networking with small business communities
  • Support client acquisition initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Certification in QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor
  • Experience using QuickBooks Online
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and financial reporting
  • Experience with bank reconciliations and transaction categorization
  • Strong communication skills with small business owners
  • Ability to explain financial information in simple terms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor
  • Intuit Bookkeeping Certification
  • Experience in bookkeeping, client accounting services, or outsourced accounting
  • Experience working with small business clients
  • Interest in financial advisory or consulting

Compensation: Part-time: 10–20 hrs/week, $30-$40/hour. or Contract:

Base compensation: $2,000 – $3,000 per month (depending on experience and hours)

Client acquisition incentive: $400 – $1,200 per new advisory client

Additional performance bonuses may be available based on client growth.
