Quran/Arabic Teacher

Adams Childcare is seeking a Quran/Arabic teacher to teach to preschool and school aged students. We are seeking someone who's native language is Arabic and who can understand and speak English well. This is a part time position. We are looking for both male and female teacher. This job is remote.

Responsibilities:

·Teaching students Arabic

Teaching students to read Quran with proper Tajweed

 Helping students memorize Surahs

 Developing a positive relationship with the students within the Islamic guidelines

 Evaluate each student and create teaching strategies based on the individual’s pace

 Tracking progress of each child and maintaining records

 Grade students’ work and perform administrative duties where needed

 Tutor students on an individual basis

 Manage student behavior in the classroom by using approved disciplinary procedures

 Maintain grade books

 Create instructional resources for use in the classroom

 Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities

 Create positive educational climate for students to learn in

 Participate in ongoing training sessions

 Create lesson plans and modify accordingly throughout the year

 Create projects designed to enhance lectures

 Read and stay abreast of current topics in education

 Utilize various curriculum resources

 Integrate competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plans

 Develop incentives to keep participants in class

 Work with program coordinators to ensure initiatives are being met

 Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities

 Prepare and distribute required reports

 Observe and evaluate student’s performance

Qualifications:

Must have knowledge of Makharij and tajweed and be able to teach the students.

 Demonstrate the ability to teach basic Islamic curriculum.

 Must be proficient in English language.

 Associates or Bachelor’s degree of related subject from accredited university

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $100.00 - $300.00 per month

Work Location: Remote
