R2R Accountant

India

As our new R2R Accountant, you’ll play a vital role in providing financial accounting and reporting support to the Scott Bader India and wider Asia teams.

You will help raise the quality and focus of financial reporting, enhance business performance, and optimise the liquidity position.

You’ll be part of a collaborative finance team, working closely with colleagues across India, Australia, and the Asia region. Reporting to the Finance Controller, you’ll ensure financial operations run smoothly while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and service.

Some of your key responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver accurate and timely monthly financial results and support annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Manage the annual audit process, acting as the main point of contact and ensuring all required information is available.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of statutory accounts, tax returns, and other financial reporting obligations.
  • Support the Regional CFO – Asia in improving accounting processes and ensuring compliance with Group and local regulations.
  • Maintain robust internal controls, safeguarding company assets and promoting best practice in working capital management.
Provide proactive financial reporting and analysis to support performance improvement and decision-making.

What do I need to be successful in this role?

  • You hold a master's degree with a recognised accounting qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in financial accounting or reporting, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and ERP system experience.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functions and regions.
  • A proactive mindset with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
