We are seeking a seasoned RF Radar Engineer with 8+ years of experience in radar system validation, RF hardware testing, and performance evaluation. The role focuses on hands-on Radar System testing, troubleshooting, and qualification of radar systems to ensure compliance with defense and aerospace standards
Core Technical Skills

Experience in working on phased-array radar systems, pulsed-Doppler Radar Systems.

Experience in handling Antenna Systems, RF front-end modules, LNAs, PAs, mixers, filters, and synthesizers.

Fundamental Knowledge in understanding of radar waveforms (pulsed, FMCW, chirp, phased-array), Doppler processing (MTI, FFT-based detection, clutter suppression), Range/Doppler estimation using matched filtering, correlation, and FFT, Beamforming algorithms (digital and hybrid beamforming for phased arrays), CFAR (Constant False Alarm Rate), Kalman filters, particle filters.

Skilled in using RF Test instruments like spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, Signal generator, Power Meter and RF test benches.

Knowledge on 461E/F EMI/EMC standards, JSS55555/Mil-810 Standards.
Key Responsibilities

Manage execution of RF testing
-
Ensure smooth conduct of FATs of the radar system

Plan and manage testing of radar components, subsystems, and systems.

Supervise power ON checks on antenna. Plan and manage near field/ far field testing of antenna and generate required reports.

Design and construction of RF test bench setups and fixtures as per the given specifications to support manual and ATE Testing

Perform technical writing which may include proposals, reports, test procedures, and specifications.

Extend maintenance support to radar during and post warranty period

Manage installation of RF safety measures and ensure implementation of RF safety protocols.

Optimization of testing processes to minimize testing time
