Your responsibility will be to assess patients thoroughly, devise personalized radiation therapy plans, and implement treatment protocols that prioritize patient safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and diagnose patients to create individualized radiation treatment plans

Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to develop and adjust treatment strategies

Administer radiation therapies and monitor patients for responses and side effects

Educate patients and their families about treatment options, procedures, and expectations

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of all treatment processes

Participate in clinical research to advance the field of radiation oncology

Keep abreast of the latest advancements and technologies in radiation treatment methods
Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution

Board certification in Radiation Oncology is required

Active and valid medical license for practice in the relevant state

A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in radiation oncology

In-depth knowledge of radiation therapy techniques and equipment
