- Conduct high-quality X-ray and CT imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing a wide range of conditions.
- Perform routine and specialized radiographic procedures including CT scans, X-ray exams, and contrast studies.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions.
- Operate CT and X-ray equipment proficiently, ensuring all settings are correct and images are of diagnostic quality.
- Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure for patients and staff, using protective shielding when required.
- Ensure all imaging procedures comply with national and international standards, local regulations, and hospital policies regarding radiation exposure.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting all relevant clinical information and images.
- Provide radiology reports and images to physicians in a timely manner for review and diagnosis.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to data protection laws.
- Review images for quality and ensure they meet the diagnostic standards required by physicians and radiologists.
- Work closely with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care and diagnosis.
