Role Overview

In compliance with physician orders and safety regulations, the radiographer/X-ray technician is in charge of carrying out superior diagnostic imaging exams, including X-rays and associated radiographic operations. Assuring patient comfort, upholding radiation safety, and creating precise images for medical diagnosis and treatment planning are all part of the job.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out radiography and X-ray operations as directed by doctors.
• To get the best diagnostic images, make sure you use the right patient placement and exposure techniques.
• Safely and effectively operate, maintain, and calibrate imaging and radiography equipment.
• Always follow infection control guidelines and radiation safety procedures.
• To guarantee comfort and comprehension, confirm the patient's identity and provide thorough explanations of the operations.
• Accurately enter and preserve patient imaging data and documentation in the clinic's system.
• When required, work together with doctors and medical personnel to discuss imaging data.
• Report maintenance requirements or equipment faults as soon as possible.
• As needed, assist with additional clinical duties in the diagnostic or radiological division.
