Position: Radiologist

Department: Radiology / Diagnostic Imaging

Location: Hospital

Job Summary

A Radiologist is responsible for performing and interpreting diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI, Ultrasound, and other imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing diseases and medical conditions. The Radiologist works closely with physicians and clinical teams to provide accurate and timely reports for patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret medical images including X-ray, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, and other diagnostic scans.
  • Provide accurate diagnostic reports within the required turnaround time.
  • Communicate findings with referring doctors and medical teams.
  • Ensure radiation safety standards and protocols are followed.
  • Supervise radiology technicians and imaging procedures when required.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and medical ethics.
  • Participate in clinical meetings and case discussions.
  • Keep updated with latest radiology practices and technologies.

Qualification Requirements

  • MBBS with MD / DNB / DMRT in Radiology or equivalent qualification.
  • Valid medical council registration.

Experience Requirements

Minimum: 1–3 years experience in radiology practice (after post-graduation).

Preferred:

  • Experience in CT, MRI, Ultrasound reporting.
  • Experience in hospital or diagnostic center setup.
  • Knowledge of emergency and trauma imaging is an added advantage.

  • Knowledge of radiation safety guidelines

Working Conditions

  • Rotational shifts / On-call duties may be required.
  • Work environment includes hospital radiology department or imaging center.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,708.09 - ₹164,035.14 per month
