About Us
Expert Radiology is a rapidly growing teleradiology company providing subspecialty radiology reads across the United States. We work with imaging centers, hospitals, and med-legal clients nationwide. Our operations team is based in Puerto Rico, and we are scaling fast — onboarding multiple new radiologists every month.
About the Role
We are hiring a Radiologist Onboarding Specialist to own the end-to-end process of getting new radiologists set up and reading cases as quickly as possible after they sign their contract. This is a hands-on, operational role that covers everything from procuring and setting up equipment to configuring software systems to coordinating training — all the way through a radiologist's first live case.
You will be the main point of contact for every new radiologist during their onboarding period and will be responsible for keeping the process moving without delays.
Responsibilities
Equipment Procurement and Setup
- Purchase and configure workstations, monitors, and peripherals for new radiologists
- Manage equipment inventory and ensure hardware is ready when needed
- Coordinate shipping and delivery of equipment to radiologists across the country
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and arrange replacements when needed
Systems and Software Configuration
- Set up radiologist access in our PACS/RIS platform (RamSoft) and all related systems
- Configure dictation software, reporting templates, and macros
- Set up VPN, remote access, and any other connectivity tools required
- Coordinate with IT on technical issues that require escalation
Onboarding Coordination
- Manage the full onboarding timeline for each radiologist from contract signing to first live case
- Collect and track required documents and coordinate with the credentialing and licensing team
- Schedule and facilitate training sessions for each new radiologist
- Proactively follow up with radiologists who are slow to respond or at risk of delays
- Maintain accurate status tracking in our project management tools
- Escalate blockers to leadership when needed
Who You Are
- Highly organized and detail-oriented — you manage multiple onboardings simultaneously without anything falling through the cracks
- Technically comfortable — you can set up computers, configure software, and troubleshoot basic issues
- Persistent and personable — you follow up professionally and consistently with physicians until things get done
- Proactive — you anticipate what's needed and communicate before being asked
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Experience in healthcare operations, IT support, or administrative coordination preferred
Why This Role Matters
Every day a radiologist is not live is revenue we cannot capture. You will directly impact how fast we grow by reducing the time between contract signing and first read.
