Radiology Receptionist - PRN

The Vernal Radiology Receptionist will be responsible for performing the following job duties::

• Answers phones and greets patients
• Ordering radiology procedures
• Communicating with radiologists and technologists for protocoling of radiology procedures
• Schedules patients
• Assists with insurance pre-authorization of radiology procedures
• Registers patients in the Hospital Information System in a friendly, confidential, and timely manner.
• Other duties include interacting with Cerner Electronic Medical Record, report tracking, coordinating with physician offices, exam billing,, and assisting in data entry charges...

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently, pleasant personality, be highly motivated, and have excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work with physicians professionally.
• Computer experience preferred
