Radiology Scheduler

***MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE IN RADIOLOGY SCHEDULING***

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scheduler to join our dynamic team. The Scheduler will play a crucial role in coordinating patient appointments, ensuring seamless communication between patients and healthcare providers. This position requires strong customer service skills and the ability to navigate medical office management effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience with Medicare processes, familiarity with medical terminology and legal/personal injury cases and PIP insurance.

Duties

• Schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently, ensuring optimal use of resources.
• Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Maintain accurate records of appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling in the office management system.
• Utilize Medics Premier/ ADS software for scheduling and patient management tasks.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their appointments, including reminders and follow-ups.
• Assist in the overall consistency of the medical office environment to ensure smooth operations.

Experience

• Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred, particularly in scheduling or administrative roles.
• Experience in EXCELLENT customer service and satisfaction
• Familiarity with Personal Injury and Health related scheduling is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using medical office software such as Medics Premier/ ADS; experience with ICD-9/10 coding is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and referral sources.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as effective communication is essential for this role.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial for understanding patient needs and coordinating care effectively.
