Radiology Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION :

· Follow all pre-procedure norms as laid down

· Prepare all solutions and ensure that the related and relevant machines/ equipments/factors are set prior to performance of the test/investigation.

· Develop all related films and ensure that the reports are prepared concurrently.

· Ensure that the reports are typed, signed by appropriate authority and dispatched to respective department/section.

· Assist the Doctor/Consultant during the performance of the investigation/test if required by the Doctor/ Consultant.

· Maintain all related documentation – files, registers, etc.

· Keep unexposed films in readiness and in appropriately protected cabinets/containers – lead-lined.

· Ensure that the cassettes are clean and available in sufficient numbers.

· Ensure that all film screens are clean and kept and stored under appropriate conditions.

· Inform appropriate authority in respect to balance stock on hand – films, chemicals, solutions etc.

· Ensure that unauthorized personnel are not permitted to enter into the restricted areas of the department.

· Maintain records of utilization of all consumables

· Look after all minor repair work directly bearing on the performance of the department

· Ensure that purchase orders and material requisitions from stores are raised at the appropriate time.

· Show keenness and willingness to learn radiography work and also the willingness to perform all radiography related work as and when required

· Follow the Departmental Protocols / Procedures

· Perform any other job assigned by superior as per exigencies of work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
