RADIOLOGY TRANSPORTER - EAMC RADIOLOGY

Under the supervision of Radiology personnel, the radiology transporter performs a wide array of tasks in the Radiology department that facilitates patient flow and allows the professional technologist and/or nurse to be more accessible for procedures/exams. Follows all department and hospital policies and procedures to promote patient care. Transports patients in safe and timely manner and follows proper procedure for basic handling of catheters, tubes, equipment, monitors, and oxygen. Greets and introduces self to patients and provides patient and/or staff with appropriate information regarding transport. The Radiology Transporter will help keep the department clean and functioning effectively and will assist in other assigned duties that will help improve patient satisfaction.
