Role Overview

The RadNet & Radiology Scheduling Analyst is responsible for supporting, optimizing, and integrating radiology workflows across scheduling, modality systems, PACS, and voice recognition platforms. This role ensures seamless coordination between clinical operations, imaging technologies, and enterprise systems to enhance patient throughput, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of radiology workflows, scheduling systems, PACS integration, and healthcare IT standards (HL7/DICOM), along with the ability to collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities

Radiology Workflow Management

  • Support and optimize end-to-end radiology workflows including:
  • Order intake
  • Scheduling
  • Pre-authorization and patient preparation
  • Image acquisition
  • Interpretation and reporting
  • Results distribution
  • Configure and maintain scheduling rules for various imaging modalities.
  • Ensure alignment between clinical operations and IT systems.

RadNet & Scheduling System Support

  • Configure and support RadNet-based radiology scheduling systems.
  • Maintain scheduling templates, resource allocation, and modality availability.
  • Troubleshoot appointment conflicts, overbooking, and workflow bottlenecks.
  • Improve patient throughput and utilization metrics.

Modality & PACS Integration

  • Support integration between imaging modalities (CT, MRI, X-Ray, Ultrasound, etc.) and PACS.
  • Ensure proper DICOM routing and image transmission.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot modality-to-PACS connectivity issues.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve integration challenges.
  • Maintain interface mappings between RIS, PACS, and EMR systems.

Voice Recognition & Reporting Systems

  • Support radiology voice recognition platforms for structured reporting.
  • Optimize speech recognition accuracy and workflow efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot dictation, transcription, and report distribution issues.
  • Support integration between reporting systems and PACS/RIS.

Imaging Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop operational reports and dashboards for:
  • Modality utilization
  • Turnaround times
  • No-show rates
  • Productivity metrics
  • Analyze imaging data to identify workflow improvements.
  • Support performance optimization initiatives using imaging analytics tools.

Interface & Standards Management

  • Support HL7 and DICOM integrations.
  • Maintain interfaces between scheduling systems, EMR, RIS, and PACS.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Assist in system upgrades and vendor coordination.

Operational & Production Support

  • Provide Level 2/3 support for radiology IT systems.
  • Participate in on-call support as required.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for workflow or system failures.
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations and integrations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Informatics, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience supporting radiology systems.
  • Strong knowledge of radiology workflows and scheduling operations.
  • Experience with PACS and modality integrations.
  • Familiarity with voice recognition systems in radiology.
  • Knowledge of HL7 and DICOM standards.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with clinical and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting large multi-site imaging networks.
  • Knowledge of imaging analytics platforms.
  • Experience working in hospital or outpatient radiology environments.
  • Familiarity with EMR integrations.
  • Certifications in healthcare IT or imaging informatics (preferred).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹11,009.53 - ₹37,761.49 per month
