Railroad Construction Superintendent-Night Shift

Summary

Banton Construction Company is seeking to immediately hire a qualified Night Shift Superintendent. The successful candidate will be assigned to the Old Saybrook Train Station renovation project, which is currently underway in Old Saybrook, CT. There is also opportunity for growth and advancement within the company once the Project is completed. Our headquarters are based in North Haven, CT, and we have an active pipeline of transportation-oriented work throughout the region.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Manage and supervise on-site personnel, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Implement safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Coordinate with project managers to align project goals and objectives.
• Review schematics and plans to ensure accurate execution of designs.
• Utilize construction management software for tracking progress and reporting.
• Prepare budgets and manage financial aspects of projects effectively.

Requirements

• Must be willing to work the night shift.
• Must be able to reliably commute/report to the job-site location in Old Saybrook, CT
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening (5-panel drug screen includes marijuana)
• Must maintain compliance with the FRA random drug & alcohol testing program
• Experience working with Amtrak Railroad is strongly preferred
• Quality control related credentials are strongly preferred

Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
