Grace Railroad Contractors is seeking an experienced Railroad Operations Supervisor to oversee multiple field crews while supporting track inspection, estimating, and customer relations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest industry standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong railroad experience, capable of managing operations while maintaining strong client relationships.Key Responsibilities:
Crew Management & Operations:
- Supervise and coordinate multiple railroad construction and maintenance crews across various job sites
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies and FRA regulations
- Plan and allocate manpower, equipment, and materials to meet project schedules
- Monitor job progress, productivity, and quality of work
Track Inspection:
- Perform routine, scheduled, and emergency track inspections
- Identify defects, safety hazards, and maintenance needs
- Ensure compliance with Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) standards
- Document inspection reports and coordinate necessary repairs
Estimating & Project Planning:
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment
- Review project plans, specifications, and scope of work
- Assist in developing bids and proposals
- Track and manage job costs to ensure profitability
Customer Relations:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and project stakeholders
- Maintain strong, professional relationships through consistent communication
- Meet with clients on-site to review project scope, progress, and expectations
- Address concerns and provide timely, effective solutions
Safety & Compliance:
- Enforce all safety policies and procedures across job sites
- Conduct safety meetings, job briefings, and audits
- Ensure crews are properly trained and certified
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement

Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of railroad experience in construction, maintenance, or inspection
- Strong knowledge of track structure, maintenance practices, and FRA regulations
- Proven experience managing multiple crews and job sites
- Experience in estimating and project management preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred
- Must reside in Central Arkansas or be willing to relocate

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
