Station Manager

High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
-
Experience as a Ramp Agent in a Part 121 environment preferred.

Ability to perform all physical below wing duties.
-
Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces.
-
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
-
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
-
Must be able to remain calm during adverse conditions.
-
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
These shall include, but are not limited to the following:
-
Aircraft Marshalling and wingwalking.
-
Loading and Unloading of Aircraft.
-
Familiarizing and hands on training on the safe operation of ground equipment (specific to equipment being operated).

Aircraft servicing (includes catering).
-
Ramp operations including safety rules, ramp markings (signs, signaling devices, lights and blast fences), equipment operating rules and procedures for positioning ground equipment around aircraft.

Local airport rules and regulations (speed limits, roadways, etc.).
-
Deicing Training in cold weather stations as per the Deice Manual (DIM).

Be familiar with aviation security, weight and balance programs.
-
Reporting safety hazards concerns, hazards, near misses, incidents, and accidents to immediate Supervisor.

Protecting passenger baggage from damage, loss, and weather conditions.
-
Reporting equipment problems to the AIC or the Station Manager.
