Join our team and help shape the future of connectivity indoors and outdoors. Together, let's push the boundaries of technology and advance sustainable networks worldwide.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

As aSystems Engineer, you will serve as the technical bridge between customer requirements, product strategy, and engineering execution. This role focuses on translating customer and product needs into detailed system requirements, architecture definitions, and technical specifications that guide software, hardware, and platform development. You will work across engineering, product management, and customer teams to define how our RAN and DAS systems function, integrate, and perform in real-world deployments. This role sits within the Architecture & Engineering organization and supports development of converged RAN + DAS wireless solutions. The preferred location for this role is in Richardson, Texas or Nashua, New Hampshire. However, exceptionalcandidates may be considered for remote opportunities in the U.S..

You Will Make an Impact By:

System Definition & Requirements Ownership

  • Translatingcustomer, operator, and product requirements into detailed technical system requirements
  • Definingfunctional behavior, interface specifications, and architecture design for RAN and DAS platforms
  • Developing system design documentation describing platform, networking, protocol, and software interactions
  • Identifying platform resource requirements including compute, memory, and hardware interface considerations

Cross-Functional Engineering Leadership

  • Servingas the integration point between PLM, software, embedded, RF, and platform engineering teams
  • Providingtechnical guidance to development teams throughout product lifecycle
  • Drivingsystem-level design reviews and requirement alignment across engineering organizations
  • Supporting definition of feature roadmaps and system capabilities

Customer & Deployment Collaboration

  • Working directly with operator, enterprise, and neutral-host customers to understand deployment requirements and performance expectations
  • Supporting field trials, interoperability testing, and acceptance activities
  • Translatingfield feedback and customer challenges into engineering improvements and feature requirements

System Architecture & Integration

  • Definingsystem behavior across CU/DU/RU, DAS, and converged RAN deployments
  • Supporting architecture development aligned with 3GPP and O-RAN specifications
  • Ensuringsystem integration across hardware, embedded software, networking, and timing infrastructure
  • Analyzingsystem tradeoffs to balance performance, scalability, and customer requirements

Performance & Troubleshooting

  • Supporting cross-layer system troubleshooting and performance analysis
  • Evaluatingsystem behavior across networking, protocol, platform, and radio subsystems
  • Contributingto system optimization and release readiness activities

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
  • 8+ years of experience in wireless infrastructure, telecommunications systems, or RAN product development
  • Experience defining or authoring system requirements, architecture documentation, or feature specifications
  • Strong understanding of LTE and 5G RAN architecture and wireless system behavior
  • Experience working across software, hardware, and networking system domains
  • Exposure to customer deployments, interoperability testing, or carrier acceptance activities
  • Working understanding of wireless protocols, networking technologies, and platform integration concepts
  • Familiarity with O-RAN architecture and fronthaul technologies such as CPRI or eCPRI
  • Experience working in cross-functional engineering environments
