RANCH HAND — San Antonio, TX
Full-Time | Thursday–Monday | 9 Hours/Day

We are looking for an experienced Ranch Hand to join our family ranch in San Antonio, TX. This is a hands-on role working directly with cattle and horses in a traditional ranch environment. The right person takes pride in their animals, communicates proactively, and keeps the family informed with regular updates.

Schedule:

• Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday — ON
• Tuesday & Wednesday — OFF
• 9 hours/day with 1-hour paid lunch
• Total: 40 hours/week

Responsibilities:

• Daily care and feeding of cattle (bulls and cows) and horses
• Barn and stable maintenance: cleaning, bedding, mucking, repairs, organization
• Monitor animal health: identify illness, injury, or behavioral changes and report immediately
• Assist with loading, moving, and sorting cattle as needed
• Basic horse handling: grooming, feeding, turnout, and stall care
• Maintain pastures, fencing, water systems, and equipment
• Send daily or as-needed status updates via mobile app: photos and short videos of animals, facilities, and any issues
• Keep grounds and facilities clean and orderly
• Work independently and manage daily tasks without constant supervision
