Ranch Hand - Feedlot (Hermiston, OR)

Job Overview
Looking for a Feed Truck Operator that is mechanically inclined to be able to maintain the feed equiptment and do regular maintenance on the equiptment. You must be able to operate feedtrucks, tractor-trailer, loaders, tractors, dump truck, skid steer and etc. Will be responsible for feeding cattle at appropriate times of the day.

Responsibilities

• Read Cattle bunks and be able to call the feed for the day
• Proficiently adjust loads on feeding Software to efficiently feed cattle
• Maintain your equiptment clean, fueled and in working order
• Communicate effectively with Yard Manager on order of loads, and cattle movements daily
• Being able to forecast 2-4 days to make sure there is enough feed in the kitchen for the coming days
